Round mortise and tenon joints are used for the ash legs and stretchers, which are in turn firmly secured with oak wedges, uniting the undercarriage and the seat together in a state of great tension.
The ash seat boasts a mezmirisingly iridescent grain configuration that appears to float above the dark framework.
Perfectly suited to historic and contemporary settings alike, this piece is equally at home as a dressing seat at the foot of the bed, the centrepiece of a living space, or indeed as extra seating for gatherings around the table.
